The president of the Venezuelan Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies, Vicky Herrera, announced that Expo AVAVIT 2026 will take place from June 30 to July 2 at Quinta La Esmeralda, in Caracas, and indicated that the meeting will include representatives of the Colombian tourism sector.

Herrera said that the activity will allow us to review market trends and generate agreements between actors in the sector, according to a press release from Radio Miraflores.

He stressed that “it is a very important space for everything that is alliances, to know the new news that the market has, to know what is happening, to do business, to make friends”.

He also explained that the meeting will serve to order priorities and define a roadmap that facilitates the organization of initiatives, and he maintained that it is “a specific time to organize ourselves, to establish a road map, to begin to see where to start organizing and ordering everything that is to come”.

The spokeswoman noted that regional chambers are developing actions to strengthen tourism and coordinate it with local economic activities, and mentioned advances in Portuguesa, Barinas, Yaracuy and Zulia.

He added that tourism covers different areas and requires identifying spaces for action and pending challenges, and specified that “being inside the Chamber and determining all those spaces, knowing how we can really take advantage of them and also understanding what are those challenges that we have pending to solve, is part of the work we are doing from the regions”.
