Expo National Buffalo, Sheep and Goat Fair 2026 in Caracas will have more than 100 producers

The vice-president of the Venezuelan Meat Council (Convecar), Carlos Hellmund, assured that the IV Expo National Buffalo, Sheep and Goat Fair 2026, which will take place from May 13 to 17 in the Simon Bolivar Park in La Carlota, will be attended by more than 100 producers and more than a thousand animals.
He also said that there will be more than 200 sponsoring companies with commercial exhibitions; in addition, there will be a market where fresh buffalo products that have not arrived in the city of Caracas will be offered.
For his part, the executive director of Criabúfalos de Venezuela, Julio Vargas, in the program “La Jornada”, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), stressed that at this National Buffalo, Sheep and Goat Fair there will be geneticist exhibitions on the identification study of the animal model and superior buffaloes, with the idea of reproducing them.
In that regard, he added that the mastery of breeding techniques is essential to optimize reproductive parameters, which directly translates into more efficient and constant production for the supply of the domestic market.
He also stressed that efforts have been made to promote the production of buffalo milk for dairy processing. He also pointed out that, in terms of export, raw materials such as butter and pasteurized cheeses should be processed, in order to position them in international markets.
Finally, he highlighted that this exhibition fair is the best showcase for Venezuelan buffalo, in addition to cattle and goats. This time, it will have a market for derivative products, especially dairy products.
This 4th Expo National Fair 2026 brings together brands, companies, livestock farms and allies that will form part of this great agro-industrial, commercial and entertainment showcase in the country.
This will be an experience that will connect tradition, business, culture and entertainment in the heart of Caracas.
