Falcón animalists join the world birdwatching day

With the objective of promoting sustainable tourism, this Saturday, May 10, the state of Falcón joins the celebration of Global Big Day, a worldwide activity where birdwatching takes place to characterize each location.

The president of CATURFALCON, Richard Zambrano, indicated that due to the relevance of the macro event, which focuses on citizen science, the entity will participate with routes and tours through the natural attractions of the East Coast.

The event is accompanied by several amateur groups , institutions, even tourist service providers, who are related to the preservation of nature, including Hoku, Tuqueque Travel, Casa Guacheraca, Veo ave, The Best of Morrocoy, among others.

“We had the intention of being on the East Coast supporting the activity, which in addition to carrying out routes and tours through natural areas, offers on its agenda a meeting between specialists, conservationists, nature lovers, tourism students and organizations aimed at caring for the environment,” he told the regional press.
