The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed that North American imperialism together with the country's fascist extremist opposition sector are planning new violent actions and attacks against the Venezuelan people.

“Right now, imperialism is planning attacks against our people, and there we have to be more united every day to always respond in perfect unity: Popular-Military-Police,” he said.

This was emphasized in Coro, Falcón state, in his speech at the closing of the campaign of the candidate for governor of the entity, Víctor Clark, on the way to the elections of May 25, where he stated that this entity has been no exception to the aggressions of the United States and the extremist right, “all of Venezuela has been attacked.”

“But there are peoples that stand out for their struggles and when we hear the song by Ali Primera: 'I don't stay in the house, well, to combat me go', it's the fight for life, but it's also the fight for peace, for the future, for solidarity, for love between brothers and companionship,” he said.

He added that it is also about the fight for the Bolivarian Revolution, “for freedom, sovereignty, independence, this is the fight that Father Bolivar and our indigenous brothers taught us for many years.”

He recalled that the Venezuelan indigenous peoples were able to face the most powerful empire of that time and they defeated it. “Today we are facing the most powerful empire of all time,” he said.

He added that “today we can assure that Venezuela is standing. Venezuela kneels before no one and no one imposes absolutely anything on it. We have a ton of morale.”
