FANB continues to provide humanitarian assistance after double earthquake

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) maintains an operational deployment in affected areas after the double earthquake with the objective of carrying out assistance and support tasks for the population.

In this regard, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, linked this mobilization to the principles of State solidarity, pointing out that the actions respond to Simon Bolivar's humanitarian ideology to bring direct support to citizens.

The military contingent coordinates the distribution of supplies, logistical care and the protection of vulnerable areas. These social support tasks are carried out jointly with ministries and civil protection agencies to optimize the scope of coverage in priority regions.
