FANB discontinued clandestine runway and logistics camp used by drug trafficking in Apure

The Strategic Operational Commander (CEO) of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), GJ. Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported on the detection and disabling of a clandestine runway and a logistics camp to support drug trafficking, located in the state of Apure.
Through his account on the social network Instagram, the senior military specified that two light aircraft were seized and disabled in the operation and added that members of the National Anti-Drug Superintendency (SUNAD), the National Anti-Drug Command and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) participated in the operation, accompanied by members of the Apure Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) .
In this regard, it became known that during patrol and reconnaissance operations, a logistics camp to support drug trafficking was located, dismantled and disabled, where 6,400 liters of airplane gasoline, mesh with artificial camouflage for aircraft, a hook for dragging aircraft, 600 meters of hose, 500 kilos of urea, reflectors and cables for night beacons, among other materials, were seized.
“Venezuela is a State of law and justice that fights daily against drug trafficking and criminal groups, who intend to use our national territory as a platform to extract their products from neighboring countries. Drug trafficking products are not produced or consumed in Venezuela,” said the commander of the CEOFANB.
