FANB officials destroyed illegal mining camp in Bolívar state

Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), accompanied by representatives of the Public Ministry, destroyed an illegal mining camp in the El Jabillal sector, Piar municipality, Bolívar state.
The Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, explained that in the procedure, 16 cambuches (improvised tanks), six sieve-like structures, 640 meters of 3-inch hose, five motor pumps, 8 turbines, 320 liters of diesel fuel and 120 liters of gasoline were seized and destroyed.
He also stressed that it is a new blow to environmental illegality, it was carried out within the framework of the Bolivarian Shield Operations “Roraima 2025”, through the Rapid Reaction Unit of ZODI 62 Bolívar, accompanied by the 3rd Attorney for environmental matters, who carried out an approach tour to determine criminal liability for environmental crimes and in this review, the illegal mining camp that predated the environment with water pollution, sedimentation of the bed and destruction of the layer was located vegetable.
