Fernando Buen Abad congratulates Con El Mazo Dando on its 12th anniversary: Mirror of a People and space for humanist reflection!

Journalist Fernando Buen Abad sent congratulatory greetings to the Secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, and to the Con El Mazo Dando program team, regarding their 12th anniversary.

“We are celebrating 12 years of the systematic, firm, important and entertaining task of producing El Mazo, as it is known in Venezuela, to God praying, it is said and with El Mazo Giving (...) It is a privilege to be able to send greetings to all the followers of this television broadcast and also radio radio and right now also through the internet platforms where we can see and learn about this deployment of informative, educational and especially reflective work that has been going on permanently for 12 years,” he said.

Buen Abad added that it is a television program “so siu generis on an international scale and so unique in terms of political content and so necessary to produce humanist reflections that lead us to thoroughly scrutinize the bases of a movement as crucial as the revolutionary socialist process in Venezuela and as crucial as having a thermometer close to the feelings, tempers, character and sense of humor of the Venezuelan people and how they face daily life”.

In his message, the renowned communicator states “the deck serves to become a mirror of his people, of the state of mind of his people and to see how the political leadership of a humanist construction such as the one that the Venezuelan people have been building is being destroyed”.

He says that “El Mazo is the son of a historical need, communicational urgency and the son of a group of talents that brings together and mixes to say things as they should be said and to take seriously what is serious, but also to give him a tone of humor, hope, clarity, certainty and serenity in the analyses, even the crudest that have been done there”.

Buen Abad extended congratulations to the entire team that makes the program possible and added “to Diosdado Cabello himself, to whom I recognize the effort he does, among many other things, that he must face for his tasks on the political, government and communication fronts, in which his efforts and his team give us this valuable tool for information and reflection. It's no use knowing what's going on if we can't build a position.”.
