FIFA updated its ranking with Venezuela rising one place

The International Football Federation (FIFA) updated its ranking, in which France rose to first position and Venezuela rose one place.

The two triumphs of the French squad in the last round of the national teams, together with the victory and the draw of the Spanish team, in addition to the duels won by Argentina against lower-weight rivals, allowed the change in the first positions, leaving Spain in second place.

For its part, Venezuela managed to rise just one position since the January 19 update. Vinotinto, now, is in 49th place with three (3) points, going from 1,465 to 1,468 and placing ahead of 50th place, as happened in September (49), November and December (48) of 2025, reported Líder en Deportes.
