This Friday, during the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, hosted by the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón and the deputy Tania Díaz, the issue of the federal judge's order curbing the deportation of Venezuelans in the United States (USA) was addressed.
Deputy Tania Díaz highlighted that the professionalization of Venezuelans has been recognized, according to studies, 96% of citizens work and only 1% are linked to criminal actions.
In this regard, Cabello added that “the figures were not counted by El Mazo but by the US government.”
The federal district judge in Texas, Fernando Rodríguez Jr. determined that it is “illegal” to use the Foreign Enemies Act of 1798 to expel Venezuelan citizens from the territory.
The magistrate, appointed by Donald Trump in his first Presidency, is the first to issue a categorical ruling against the controversial rule, whose invocation was devised by Stephen Miller, the influential National Security advisor to the Republican president.
