FILVEN arrives in Apure state this Tuesday (+schedule)

The 19th edition of the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) will be held from Tuesday, April 16 to Thursday, April 18, in Plaza Bolívar in San Fernando de Apure, under the slogan Reading meets us again.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the fair will pay tribute to the national writers Carmen Delia Bencomo, Domingo Alberto Rangel Bourgoin and Armando Carías, and at the regional level to the writers María Auxiliadora Gómez Jordán and Pablo Nahun Fuentes Méndez.

The FILVEN Apure is organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, through the National Book Center (CENAL) and the State Cabinet of Culture, together with the government. In addition to book presentations, including the news of The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila and the Ayacucho Library, there will be talks, conferences, workshops, a children's pavilion and artistic activities as part of the program.

This meeting with the letters will also be attended as national guests by Eleazar Marín, José Gregorio Correa, Alberto Rodríguez and Carlos Luis Calzadilla.
