FILVEN Zulia 2024 inaugurated the 19th edition in Maracaibo

With the presence of the director of the National Book Center , Raúl Cazal and the international guest from Palestine, Widad Arauri, the Zulia 2024 International Book Fair was inaugurated.
The cultural meeting takes place at the headquarters of PDVSA La Estancia in Maracaibo, under the motto Reading Reunites us.
The event pays homage to Zuliano writers Alexis Fernández, Blas Perozo Naveda and the state-born poet Falcón Lydda Franco Farías, who rooted her prose in the spaces of Coquivacoa.
Raúl Cazal said that the best way to give voice to texts is to hold these meetings of knowledge, readings and dreams, according to the regional press. “Not only are we talking about books, but about an entire systemic cultural movement invited those present “to meet with poets, writers, essayists and historians”.
