The Caracas Fire Department fought a fire that primarily
affected six commercial premises in the Entrepreneur's Market,
located on Baralt Avenue, in the center of the capital.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión,
officials carried out direct combat and cooling tasks to
extinguish the flames and prevent their spread to nearby establishments and structures.
Given the complexity of the operations, a command
post called “Entrepreneurs” was installed to coordinate the water, material and human
resources destined to respond to the emergency.
In addition, security protocols were activated and a preventive cordon was
established to protect merchants and
bystanders in the area.
