This Sunday, December 1st, the Venezuelan International Tourism Fair (FITVEN) concluded.

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, assured that this fair, more than a meeting, was an opportunity for exchange, for the sixth meeting of Tourism Ministers of the Bolivarian Alliance,

He stressed that this meeting was a space to promote more than 40 bilateral meetings aimed at defining future cooperation agreements.

For his part, the executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, specified that ALBA is an alliance of countries, based on the principles of solidarity, cooperation and complementarity.

“We have the perfect geographical, historical and ideological conditions to complement each other from all spheres, especially from tourism, and hopefully, in the future, we can consolidate a free transit zone, among us, as brothers, to get to know each other, to market our products, to get out of dependence on other countries, which have made very good use of our resources, as well as our needs to comfortably benefit,” he said in a press release from ALBA TCP.

Finally, Governor Freddy Bernal thanked the state for hosting the event.
