Five states lead the share of representatives in speed skating and skateboarding heading to Nationals

The Aragua, Barinas, Portuguesa, Miranda and La Guaira are leading the number of representatives in speed skating and skateboarding after the qualifiers that gave way to the final phase of the XXII Youth National Games 2026 scheduled for next August.

Both sports disciplines brought together the teams of all the entities of the country for the demanding jousts that Cojedes took as venues for speed and Miranda where the best acrobatics on the skateboard were evaluated.

The entities Aragua, Barinas, Portuguesa, Miranda and La Guaira led the qualifier with eight places each, four women's and the same number in men, according to the press release of the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports.

For their part, the representations of Táchira and Guárico will consist of four women and the same number of men, while the Larense entity will have a full contingent of four women and one male and, Yaracuy and Zulia two women respectively.

Other states join the youth party with representation only in men, they will be Cojedes and Barinas with four places and finally Falcón with three skaters.

The skateboard also chose its representatives by entity to the National Games in a selective held at the Skate Park in Francisco de Miranda Park.

In this sense, the delegations of Aragua, Carabobo and Mérida are the states that will attend with the maximum quota of places in extreme discipline competitions with four official tickets.

It will be followed by the states Anzoátegui, Miranda, Táchira and Yaracuy with a female classification and two men's each and Lara, Monagas and Sucre with two male representatives.

The Caracas delegation will also attend with a full list of two places per section in its capacity as the venue for the event.

The XXII edition of the National Youth Sports Games 2026 will take place from August 22 to September 5 in Caracas, Miranda and La Guaira.
