Fluminense de Soteldo qualified for the 2025 club world championship semis

The Brazilian team Fluminense, where Venezuelan midfielder Yeferson Soteldo plays, got its way to the semifinals of the 2025 Club World Cup by beating Arab club Al-Hilal, by 2 goals to 1.

Matheus Martinelli, for the Cariocas, scored the first goal of the match but Al-Hilal did not give up and managed to equalize through Marcos Leonardo.

Hercules scored the final 2-1, thus sealing the ticket to the semifinals of the prestigious tournament.

For his part, Yeferson Soteldo is already recovered and could make his debut in the next game, where Fluminense will face the winner of the Palmeiras and Chelsea cross.
