FONTUR: More than 90,000 carriers were served nationwide at the Gran Feria

The National Urban Transport Fund Foundation (FONTUR), reported that more than 90,000 carriers were served nationwide, in a large deployment promoted by the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works, the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of People's Power for Industries and National Commerce in the context of the Great Urban Carrier Fair 2026.
The Grand Urban Carrier Fair 2026, an event aimed at supporting and dignifying Venezuelan carriers, through comprehensive care, offering direct solutions to professionals behind the wheel who were able to purchase products from the automotive sector, press release by the Ministry of the People's Power of National Commerce.
Juan Matos, a beneficiary from the state of Zulia, thanked the National Government for coordinating with the various state agencies to support the transport community. “Very happy and grateful to President Delcy Rodríguez and her institutions, we have been able to buy spare parts at an excellent cost,” he said.
Ricardo Abreu, a carrier from Barinas, said that he managed to buy spare parts for the bus and at affordable prices. “Really satisfied because I also updated my documentation quickly and without so much paperwork,” he said.
During the fairs, attendees were able to purchase rubbers, lubricants, batteries and a wide variety of spare parts, and participated in services such as Ve-Ticket registration, health care, medical certificates, administrative procedures, licenses, food and financing options.
This deployment took place in all states of the country, including Guiana Essequiba.
These spaces reaffirm the commitment of the National Government to strengthening national production and the well-being of the transport sector.
