The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, arrived this Tuesday in Bogotá, capital of Colombia, to participate in the Special Emergency Ministerial Meeting on Palestine, convened by the president of New Granada Gustavo Petro.
“The Bolivarian Government expresses its full support for this meeting in the hope of achieving a unified and effective response that will stop the atrocities that Israel continues to commit against the Palestinian people, while international institutions remain in a worrying indifference,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, representing President Nicolás Maduro, through his Telegram channel.
He ratified Venezuela's support for the liberation of Palestine, “a territory occupied since 1948 and whose people have been subjected to perpetual genocide ever since. This fight is essential for the future of humanity.”
Finally, Gil thanked Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio, Chancellor (e) of the Republic of Colombia, for her hospitality, who welcomed the Venezuelan delegation.
