Foreign Minister Gil: It hasn't been easy to walk a 200-year path to keep the name of Bolivia

This Thursday, August 7th, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, expressed to the People of Bolivia “our sincerest recognition for the commemoration of the Bicentennial of their independence.”
In his account on the social network Telegram, Gil highlighted that this recognition was made on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
In the message, the foreign minister published a video, during his speech at the 4 Centuries Cultural Center in Sucre, Bolivia, where he highlighted the courage of the Bolivian people who “for 200 years have demonstrated and have been able to keep high the honor and the name of Bolivar and the name of Bolivia”.
“It has not been easy to follow a 200-year path to maintain the name of Bolivia,” he emphasized.
He said that “from the 4 Centuries Cultural Center in Sucre, Bolivia, our orchestra system has paid homage to this historic event, which evokes the sovereignty, courage and struggle of a nation that is proud of its rich cultural diversity.”
