The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yvan Gil, in his account on the social network X, repudiated the actions of the governments of the United States (USA) and Canada after the assault on the Mexican embassy in Ecuador and the kidnapping of Jorge Glas.

“The complicit silence of the governments of the United States and Canada in relation to the kidnapping of Jorge Glas and the violation of Mexican sovereignty by the Ecuadorian government is a shameful act but not surprising,” wrote the diplomat.

Likewise, Gil pointed out that both countries in the north are “used to exploiting international law, in a discretionary manner, to attack sovereign peoples, they are silent in the face and barbarity carried out by their lackeys.”

Finally, in the message of the Venezuelan foreign minister, he said that “our Latin America, united, sovereign and with morals at the top, will find the way to restore justice and legality.”
