Foreign Minister Gil reiterated Venezuela's willingness to support Chile in the fight against criminal gangs

This Friday, April 12, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, reiterated Venezuela's willingness to support Chile in the fight against criminal gangs.
In this regard, through his account on the social network X, he said that “after communication was established between the offices of the Attorney General of Chile and Venezuela, and after the request for inter-institutional support, it would be agreed to activate Mutual Cooperation Assistance through the corresponding diplomatic channels, in order to support the investigations currently under way.”
In the message, Gil assured that the Chilean government and people “can be assured of absolute collaboration on the part of Venezuela, we will proceed to capture any criminal within our territory, who is accused of committing a crime inside or outside our country.”
He added that “just as our police forces have put an end to the criminal gang of the Aragua Train in Venezuela, we will provide all the support to end crime and any criminal organization that intends to operate in Chilean territory.”
