The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, condemned this Wednesday the energy delivery proposal promoted by Venezuelan fascism, led by María Corina Machado and the fugitive Edmundo González Urrutia.

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister pointed out that this is “a desperate attempt to give away our sovereignty to foreign interests”, and described the action as an “aberration, with weaker conditions than those of Juan Vicente Gómez”.

He stressed that the proposal “seeks to subject our oil industry to foreign powers that have historically plundered our resources”, for which he repudiated “this surrendering maneuver of the stateless extreme right, which seeks to ingratiate itself with corporate powers and enemies of the Fatherland”.

The diplomat criticized that “these lackeys promote agendas that only benefit their external allies, ignoring that Venezuela is sovereign and owner of its resources.”

He recalled that President Nicolás Maduro activated the Absolute Productive Independence Plan. “The oil industry will continue to be a fundamental pillar for national development, under state control and for the benefit of the people. Venezuela is not for sale, Venezuela defends itself!” , he emphasized.
