The Minister of Popular Power
for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his account on the
social network X, celebrated this Tuesday the 21st anniversary of the Barrio Adentro Mission.
“Today we celebrate the 21st anniversary of the Barrio Adentro Mission created by Commander Chávez to settle a social debt with the people: health. This emblematic project is the result of solidarity collaboration and fraternity between Cuba and Venezuela, which gave life to this very humane project,” Ministro wrote.
Currently, the Barrio Adentro Mission has 572 Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), 580 Comprehensive Rehabilitation Rooms (SRI) and 36 High Technology Centers (CAT).
