Foreign Minister Yván Gil exposes strengths of the Venezuelan electoral system to UN experts

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, received this Tuesday in his office the electoral experts of the United Nations (UN) who will accompany the presidential elections on July 28 in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

“During this meeting, we had the opportunity to highlight the strengths of the Venezuelan electoral system, recognized worldwide as one of the most reliable and transparent,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister through his account on the social network X.

The UN representation is headed by Jorge Grayeb, Electoral Affairs Officer of the Electoral Affairs Unit of the Department of Political Affairs and Peacebuilding, as head of the delegation, accompanied by Gianluca Rampolla, resident coordinator and humanitarian coordinator of the United Nations in Venezuela, in addition to six other officials.

In accordance with United Nations regulations, Electoral Expert Panels do not issue public evaluative statements about the general conduct of the electoral process or its results.
