‎Cuatro former officials of the Baruta Police were charged and deprived of their liberty by the Public Ministry for the crime of extortion.

‎De according to the Public Ministry, the four officials were accused of stripping a citizen of his belongings.

‎En In that sense, it became known that these people, using their police inauguration, subdued the victim and demanded a large sum of money from him in exchange for his freedom.

Former officials were identified as Rafael Salcedo, Junior Nieto, Jeison Hernández and Ángel Tovar, who were charged with the crimes of delay or intentional omission of aggravated functions, evasion, unloading of firearms and misuse of organic weapons.
