‎Cuatro former officials of the Baruta Police were charged and deprived of their liberty by the Public Ministry for the crime of extortion.

‎ Former officials were identified as Rafael Salcedo, Junior Nieto, Jeison Hernández and Ángel Tovar, who were charged with the crimes of delay or intentional omission of aggravated functions, evasion, unloading of firearms and misuse of organic weapons.
