The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Namibia held a cultural exhibition at the “Fidel Castro Ruz” Primary School in Katutura.

In the activity, more than 400 children participated in the event and enjoyed the presence of the Venezuelan artist Gerardo Valentín, who shared the national music and showed different rhythms and the richness of the Cuatro.

Through Valentín's presentation, students appreciated the cultural diversity of Venezuela and Latin America in general.

The Venezuelan ambassador to Namibia, Magaly Henríquez, highlighted the importance of culture as a bridge between peoples.

In his speech, he emphasized that music is a universal language that “allows us to recognize ourselves in diversity and strengthen friendship between nations”.

He pointed out that the Venezuelan Four is a symbol of joy, resilience and unity, and that each chord transmits discipline, creativity and hope.

Among the authorities present were Francis Haragaeb, director of the “Fidel Castro Ruz” Primary School, and Victoria Shikwambi, inspector of District 4 of the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Sports, Arts and Culture of Namibia, together with the Cuban ambassador, Sergio Vigoa de la Uz, who participated in the event and shared with the students.

Finally, the Venezuelan Embassy donated a projector and a computer to the school, with the objective of strengthening educational activities and supporting children's learning.
