Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá: Uribe Turbay remains in critical condition after surgery

Colombian senator Miguel Uribe Turbay is still in an extremely serious condition and his prognosis is reserved after undergoing emergency surgical procedures, the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation reported.
In a statement, the institution indicated that Uribe Turbay was admitted to the emergency department in critical condition on the night of June 7. After a multidisciplinary evaluation, immediate surgery was performed for initial damage control.
After the neurosurgical procedures and on the left lower limb, the patient was transferred to the intensive care unit for postoperative stabilization.
The Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, with the authorization of the family, will continue to provide the necessary medical care and will update public opinion on any relevant developments in its evolution.
