FUNVISIS announces international tsunami drill

The Venezuelan Seismology Foundation (FUNVISIS) invites the general public to participate in the international tsunami simulation, organized annually under the parameters of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) and UNESCO.
This is an exercise that seeks to raise public awareness of the tsunami threat in the Caribbean, including Venezuela, which has been carried out in the country since 2011 to strengthen the operation of the Tsunami Warning System along its coasts.
