Futve Playa League National Phase will run until September 21

This Monday, the second day of the games of the National Phase of the Futve Playa League was played, which will last until September 21, with another victory for the current champion, Guaicamacuto, and the victory on penalties of the CD El Guamo team, in the sand complex of the Maturín sports center.

In the game of the two host teams, both in group B. Guamo equalized 3-3 against Monagas Beach Football in regular time, to finally take the victory in the 5-4 penalty shootout, with which he went on to command the group with two victories in the same number of starts. In the other group B match, Macuto FC won its first victory at the expense of El Morro, also in the penalty shootout.

Group A opened with a 6-0 win by the Centaurs of Caracas against Iturriza. While the defending champion, Guaicamacuto, remained undefeated in two games, this time beating the Bella Vista team 4-2, in the last match of the night.

The games will continue until Wednesday in this first group round, with 4 daily clashes starting at 4:00pm, at the Maturín sports center, to play the quarterfinals on Friday and play the semifinals and the final of the event on Saturday.

The event, organized by the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) with the support of the Government of Monagas, gives the winner the place to represent Venezuela in the Copa Libertadores of this type of football.
