GAN offers permanent workshop programming between March and April

The National Art Gallery (GAN) will hold a series of permanent workshops during March and April aimed at children, young people and the general public interested in the visual arts.
According to information from the Ministry
for Culture, training activities will take place on
Thursdays and Saturdays.
On Thursday, March 12, 19 and 26,
the ceramic modeling workshop “From Earth to Form” will be held, aimed at children
from the age of six, under the direction of Carolina Jiménez.
For their part, on Saturdays,
March 14, 21 and 28 and April 4, several workshops will be held for teenagers over 15 years
of age, including “Handcrafted Graphic Techniques”, “From Academy to
Landscape” , “Comic Book Drawing” and “Expressions of Analytical Drawing” ,
aimed at strengthening skills in engraving, drawing and artistic creation.
In addition, children and young people between 7 and 15 years old
will be able to participate in the workshop “Let's Play Family Chess”, which seeks to bring
the public closer to this discipline through training activities.
