Gas Comunal served 26,256 families in communities in the state of Mérida

The state company Gas Comunal supplied domestic fuel to serve 26,256 families in specific communities in 36 parishes and 20 municipalities in the state of Mérida.

The services were finalized by the regional distributor Nevado Gas, totaling 1 million 154 thousand 291 liters of gas, the Government of Mérida said on Tuesday in a balance sheet on the distribution carried out in the week from 08 to 14 June.

The detailed balance sheet includes 997,730 liters of LPG distributed in the form of refilling container cylinders and the bulk supply of another 53,593 liters for urban areas equipped with tanks for community use. It also mentions the attention corresponding to schools and state programs, as well as services for the commercial sector, with more than 100,000 liters of gas.

The logistics operation, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), for all these services involves making no less than 30 trips of tractor trucks and tank-type semitrailers, each with an average capacity of 38 thousand and 40 thousand liters.

Each mass-use tank is supplied at national filling stations of Gas Comunal, the gas subsidiary of Petrleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA). From these infrastructures, gas is sent to supply families across the country.
