GDC carried out sewer maintenance work in La Vega

The Capital District Government (GDC), led by Nahúm Fernández, is making progress in cleaning and deep maintenance of sewers, this time in the parish of La Vega.

According to information published on GDC's Instagram account, this action aims to ensure the full operation of public services and prevent flooding during the rainy season. In this regard, it became known that the technical crews carry out the continuous cleaning and deep maintenance of the sewers in the parish, “concentrating their efforts on the main street on the stretch up to the boulevard”.

The tasks include the removal of sediment, solid waste and entrainment material that obstructed “the catchment grids, clearing the hydraulic system to ensure that rainwater flows quickly and efficiently without compromising roads”.
