GDC inaugurated Dialysis Unit at JM de los Ríos Hospital

Government provides 1 million 180 thousand free treatments for hemodialysis patients

The head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, handed over the rehabilitation of the Dialysis Unit of the JM de los Ríos Hospital, in San Bernardino.

In that regard, he explained that this unit has the latest technology and new beds, while adding that the place has the capacity to serve 14 children up to 18 years old.

He also highlighted the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the health of the people and specified that, despite the sanctions, 800 containers with treatments for hemodialysis are arriving in the country.

He added that the Government provides 1 million 180 thousand free treatments for hemodialysis patients, “500 of them receive it directly at home.”

“All thanks to the efforts of President Nicolás Maduro, who despite sanctions and other adversities, guarantees health to our people,” said Fernández.
