GDC is making progress in the rehabilitation of Pantheon Boulevard and Plaza Las Mercedes (+Altagracia)

The Capital District Government (GDC) is actively maintaining and recovering Panteón Boulevard and Las Mercedes Square, in
the Altagracia parish of Caracas.
According to information released by the newspaper
Úlmas Noticias (UN), the head of the GDC, Nahúm Fernández, inspected
the works, which include the installation of 68 luminaires, boulders, demolition and concrete casting.
Fernández specified that these actions are aimed at improving the
quality of life of 1,920 families in the area with the above-mentioned works and
the installation of 34 tank covers, the repair of six bodies of fences and planters with
concrete.
In addition, the rehabilitation of the children's
and biosaludable playground is being carried out; and the installation of three gaming tables, muralism work
and the repair of five benches.
“Together with the People's Power, we toured these spaces, where
our teams carry out actions aimed at beautifying our capital city.
Along the way we find two preparatory meetings for the
election of their Community Councils. This shows that the people are present, actively
participating and reaffirming the importance of
leading democracy,” he said.
