This Friday, at least 12 people were injured in the town of Hamburg, in northern Germany, after a woman armed with a knife attacked users who were at the central train station, as highlighted by Russia Today (RT).
According to detailed information from a fire department spokesman, three of the victims are in critical condition, three others are seriously injured and six others have minor injuries.
“A suspect has been arrested and there is no evidence that other perpetrators are involved,” said a police official, who did not provide further information.
On the social network X, they have detailed that security forces reported that an extensive police and health emergency device was deployed in the German city, as well as an investigation to determine the reason for the attack.
This is the third knife attack in Germany in the last forty-eight hours. The frequency of attacks, whose statistics began to be recorded in 2020 and which increase by an average of 15% every year, has become a serious problem for security in Germany, where a stabbing takes place somewhere in the country every 18 minutes, according to international media.
