The German Defense Minister, Boris Pistorius, rejected new deliveries of Taurus missiles to Kiev in his meeting with his counterpart from the United States (USA), Pete Hegseth. According to detailed information in the press, it is expected that they will discuss, among other issues, the proposal to purchase two Patriot systems.

The reaction comes after Washington suspended arms shipments to Kiev and Berlin handed over to Kiev three of the nine Patriot systems that were available.

“There are really very few of them, especially considering the North Atlantic Organization (NATO) capacity objectives that we have to meet. We definitely can't give more,” Pistorius told the Financial Times, quoted by Sputnik.

Regarding the European rearmament plan, Pistorius revealed that work is being done on a material acquisition plan that includes tanks, submarines, drones and fighters by 2030, to meet the goal of making the German Army the strongest in Europe.
