The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, during the installation of the People's Summit for Peace and Against War, urged world leaders to start a true peace process.

From the Teresa Carreño Theater, he highlighted the economic and social progress of Venezuela, despite the blockade and the imposed sanctions; and celebrated the resistance of the People, for which he assured that the Bolivarian nation has the moral to call for anti-fascist spaces.

Accelerate the organization of all revolutionary social and political movements, progressive currents that defend the environment, the rights of migrants and the majority. “we must create a great front that allows us to organize ourselves to face this battle and win, that is our responsibility.”

Today we have the strength of the peoples of the world, we are not in mere resistance. We must be on the offensive and that's what we say from Venezuela.

He culminated in requesting that this “summit” result in the largest organization at a higher level so that we can go to the battles, the beautiful battles and the beautiful victories that await us as Free Peoples of the world.
