GNB seized a shipment of medical supplies that intended to enter the country illegally

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) intercepted a shipment of medical supplies from Colombia that intended to be entered the national territory irregularly.

According to information issued by the troops, the procedure was carried out by soldiers attached to the Simon Bolivar International Bridge Citizen Service Point, during routine inspection of vehicles and people.

Specifically, 1,639 units of 1% Propofol (injectable emulsion), “a potent anesthetic agent for restricted use”, were seized.
