GNB seized about 6 kilos of drugs in Táchira

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized five kilos 162 grams of marijuana and 646 grams of cocaine in the state of Táchira.

According to reports from this military component, the drugs were seized while the uniformed personnel were carrying out patrol work in the El Cementerio sector, García De Hevia municipality, in the aforementioned entity.

During the action, the uniformed personnel arrested a subject who was traveling on a motorcycle and was carrying the drugs hidden in a cellar. In addition, a 9-millimeter firearm was seized from him.

The procedure was placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP).
