Gobernador Terán provides funding to community projects in La Guaira

The Governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, provided funding for the execution of the second twenty new projects approved in the last National Popular Consultation.

During the day, the regional president emphasized that these projects cover strategic areas such as economic development, public services and social care. “With this, more than 550 projects have already been transferred to the town of La Guaira, for an amount that exceeds 5 and a half million euros. It is the organized Popular Power that truly puts into practice the exercise of self-government,” says a local press release.

Terán also stressed that this new delivery of resources boosts participation for the first National Popular Consultation of 2026, scheduled for March 8, International Women's Day.
