The sectoral vice-president of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, reported that the Bolivarian Government is making progress in mass formation in popular planning ahead of the National Popular Consultation on July 12.
Speaking to Venezolana de Televisió n, he said that the purpose is to train communes with technical tools for the design, management and execution of projects directly in their territories.
In this regard, he assured that the day makes it possible to identify the critical issues of each commune or circuit, in order to strengthen citizen participation in the definition of territorial priorities.
“A wide consultation has been conceived, a wide spectrum of consultation that includes social movements, citizens in general, specialists and universities. That is, to seek the configuration of the opinions of the entire society,” he said.
He stressed that the process of reengineering the State is progressing within the Presidential Commission for Reengineering under the instructions of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and contemplates a wide national consultation with the participation of social movements, citizens, universities and specialists.
Menéndez invited the communes to participate in the communal assemblies, which will be held across the country until June 17 in order to discuss the projects that will participate in the National Popular Consultation on July 12.
