Government evaluated actions of the National Electricity Service Recovery and Transformation Plan

The Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, reported that this Friday, May 08, on instructions from the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, he held a first meeting with specialists and technicians to establish the lines of action of the Plan for the Recovery and Transformation of the National Electricity Service (SEN), regarding the road map that will mark the energy future of Venezuela.
At the meeting, the Bolivarian Government presented to specialists and technicians a plan for the recovery and transformation of the SEN.
In this regard, Ramírez explained that, in this first phase, the proposal for a plan designed to recover service was addressed; in addition, actions were reviewed in all states of the country in order to guarantee the provision of the service.
For his part, the Minister for Electric Energy, Rolando Alcalá, said that the CORPOELEC teams and the Venezuelan academic sector will review the plan, which contemplates an extension to the future of the sector.
After this day, the outline of a strategic roadmap focused on three fundamental pillars was defined: the comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance of generating plants, the protection of the system through the national deployment of specialized crews and the strengthening of citizen care.
