Government of Anzoátegui funds 38 communal projects

The government of the state of Anzoátegui announced that 38 community projects were financed during the month of February of the year 2026.

In a regional press release, Governor Luis José Marcano indicated that they transferred 200,000 dollars to 38 communes in 18 municipalities in the eastern state. “It is a contribution to the national effort, for the administration of public resources that is much more efficient and closer to the population,” he said.

The regional chief pointed out that the improvements cover social, public services, economic areas, and others. He mentioned that these were approved in the Popular Consultations.

He said that next Sunday, March 8, the first National Popular Consultation of the year 2026 will be held, so he invited the population to participate and choose between the different proposals presented in each commune.
