Government of Anzoátegui provides health centers for the entity

The Government of the state of Anzoátegui invested nearly 700,000 dollars in medicines and supplies to be distributed in the Public Outpatient and Hospital System in all 21 municipalities.

The governor, Luis José Marcano, explained that with these resources, more than 60 types of drugs and more than 40 types of medical supplies were purchased to provide healthcare centers.

The regional president specified that so far this year, the regional executive has managed nearly 8 million dollars, of which 10% has been allocated to the purchase of medicines and medical supplies.

Marcano also presented a balance of the care offered over the past 45 days, including the carrying out of 2,000 surgical interventions and 70,000 emergencies treated in the hospital and outpatient network.
