Government of Apure carried out reinforcement work on the Arauca River

As part of the emergency plan, the Governor reported the activation of a drain pump, with the objective of expediting the evacuation of water in the most affected communities

The Bolivarian Government of the Apure state , led by Wilmer Rodríguez , carried out reinforcement work on the Arauca River , located in the town of El Amparo.

While supervising the construction of a containment dam, Rodríguez indicated that the objective is to “prevent water from continuing to flow into affected areas” while reiterating the commitment of the Revolutionary Government to meeting the needs of the People.

The multidisciplinary team that visited the area was made up of representatives from the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and the Government.

“We are still working together with the people, as our president, Nicolás Maduro, tells us.”
