The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, inaugurated the Madre María Community Pharmacy with the objective of promoting the health system in the region.

This is the sixth community pharmacy in the state, giving rise to one more point of free care for the entire population of Aragüeña who do not have sufficient resources to afford high-cost treatments.

“In this pharmacy we are going to provide free treatment for all these people, because there is no age for illness and need, that's why we are responsible as a government taking care of our people,” said the governor.

During the opening day, the authorities delivered several medications for diabetic patients donated by the Ministry of Health, in order to favor people with this pathology, who will soon have a registration system for the delivery of insulin with a treatment time of 3 to 6 months.
