Government of Aragua praises the living heritage and cultural manifestations of Ocumare de la Costa

In a special session, the Regional Executive together with the Legislative Council of the Bolivarian State of Aragua praised the trajectory of more than 35 years of immaterial demonstrations and living cultivators in the 18 municipalities, as part of the strengthening of Aragueñity in the entity, with more than 10 in Ocumare de la Costa de Oro.
By decree, the Regional Executive, led by the spokeswoman for the popular power in Aragua, Joana Sánchez, granted the patrimonial declaration to a wide range of groups, festivities, expressions of faith and living cultivators of Aragüeña's geography.
The activity was chaired by Governor Joana Sánchez and the legislator and was attended by prominent national and regional authorities in the cultural and legislative spheres, including Rosario Soto, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture; Romel Ramírez, director of the Cabinet of Culture of the state of Aragua; and Nicolás González, Secretary of Culture of the state of Aragua; and Nicolás González, Secretary of Culture of the state.
During her speech, the president of the Aragüeño parliament highlighted the historic scope of this institutional act, which honors those who have dedicated more than three decades to the preservation of regional traditions.
“More than 60 honorees, between intangible heritage and living cultural heritage, were exalted, after an investigation promoted by the Secretariat of Culture in the company of the Permanent Commission of the Legislators for Integral Social Development, Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Communication, Culture, Sports and Recreation of CLEBA, chaired by Legislator Leonardo Alvarado,” said Katiana Hernández, president of CLEBA.
Holy Sepulchre and Songs of Parradas and Aguinaldos of the Villages of the Coast, among others.
