Government of Aragua reopens grandparents' house in the entity's capital

The governor of the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, together with the Minister of Popular Power for Adults and Older Adults, Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Homeland, Magally Viña and the mayor of the Girardot municipality Rafael Morales, formalized the delivery of the Mother María de San José Grandparents House.

This structure is located in the Robinsonian Socialist Commune, after having been comprehensively transformed and rehabilitated.

Beneficiaries now have areas designed to nourish both body and spirit. Among the benefits offered by the venue are: Primary Health Care consisting of an office equipped for preventive monitoring of the health of grandparents, a large and equipped dining room that guarantees a balanced diet and a hairdressing area for the hygiene and self-esteem of our older adults, details a regional press release.

It will also have recreational areas for older adults designed for meeting, talking and playing, vital for active aging.
