Government of China announced retaliation against sanctions imposed by the EU

The People's Republic of China reported that it will retaliate in response to community sanctions taken last month due to the conflict in Ukraine and that they targeted, for the first time, two banks it owns near the border with Russia.
Likewise, the government of Xi Jinping explained that it will implement limitations on two financial institutions of the European Union (EU), according to information reported by Telesur.
The measure, announced by the Ministry of Commerce and authorized by the national coordination system for counterresponding to foreign sanctions, will take effect immediately and will be implemented at UAB Urbo Bankas and AB Mano Bankas, two entities based in Lithuania.
