The Governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, led the delivery of 400 hearing aids for the benefit of 281 people who made the request through the 1x10 of Good Governance.

The delivery was made at the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) of the Catia la Mar Spa, from where the regional president reported that each hearing device costs approximately 1,500 dollars and was delivered free of charge.

“The one who is receiving two assistants today, there is an investment of 3 thousand dollars in each one, 3 thousand dollars that the State is investing to guarantee it to you free of charge.”

Terán pointed out that investments have been made in health care in La Guaira and as a sample he cited the available outpatient clinics, the Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI) and the deep rehabilitation that was carried out at the Dr. Alfredo Machado Popular Clinic in Catia la Mar, where a hemodialysis unit was created.

“We have the CDI and now we are buying a building where we are going to build a hospital that, with God's blessing, we are going to build despite the blockade, the evil, the cruelty, the sanctions,” he said.
